Near infrared (NIR)
The shortest infrared wavelength, penetrating the skin’s surface most effectively. As a result, scientific research shows that when delivered at the wavelength of 880nm it promotes skin renewal, cell health, wound healing, and tissue growth.

Mid infrared (MIR)
A longer wavelength penetrating deeper into the body’s soft tissue where inflammation occurs. MIR expands blood vessels and increases circulation, consequently reducing pain and speeding up the healing process.
Far infrared (FIR)
